Barred Entry[edit]

I keep going to Agarmir's house and it's always barred. Anytime frame here? — Unsigned comment by 63.164.244.67 (talk) at 02:44 on 25 June 2007 (UTC)‎

I'm pretty sure he leaves his house at 6:00am. If you ever see him strutting about the city, RUN TO HIS HOUSE. (Gromir the Wasted) 24.2.171.37 21:44, 15 May 2008 (EDT)

Agarmir Schedule[edit]

On Sundas, Agarmir was seen leaving his house at around 9am. — Unsigned comment by 67.183.28.2 (talk) at 23:28 on 26 May 2009‎ (UTC)

That's normal and expected. He leaves to go wander in Green Emperor Way. Was there some reason you expected it to be different? --Robin Hood (TalkE-mailContribs) 18:54, 7 June 2009 (EDT)

Unsafe Storage[edit]

I know its already known, but don't use Agarmir's house to store stolen goods. I remember back when I was dirt poor at the beginning at the game, and stole everything at Red Diamond Jewelry. I mean EVERYTHING. Sure enough after this quest Agarmir's house was the only place I had to be safe really, so I stashed everything there and figured I would visit Shady Sam tommorow. However, I couldn't remember where he was, that's why I didn't bring my stuff with me. Sure enough, I lost it all when I got back after all that work.— Unsigned comment by Lord Jeerus (talkcontribs) at 02:43 on 18 December 2009 (UTC)

Bug Description Needed[edit]

According to SerCenKing's original schedule written from the CS, Agarmir was supposed to break off his wandering in the Arboretum and eat a two-hour lunch at the Tiber Septim Hotel on Loredas and Sundas. This never happens and while it was easy enough to change the text in the schedule, we need a small CS investigation to figure out an appropriate bug description. --Krusty 00:01, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

This is probably because that package is at the bottom, and is therefore never chosen. Still, there might be a more complex explanation so I'll wait before I post a proper bug desc. --SerCenKing Talk 13:58, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Bound Charming[edit]

Could you prevent the attack by pickpocketing a bound item/s with charm enchantments onto him or is he scripted to attack you, and it isn't actually the effects of the disposition drop?--TheAlbinoOrcGot_a_question? 13:11, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

From what I can tell it's a scripted attack. --SerCenKing Talk 13:58, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Home up for grabs (post-mortem)?[edit]

I walked into Agarmir's house after the quest related to him was finished, and everything was up for grabs. None of the "pickup" action cursors were red. Not even the "sleep" action cursor. Except that when I tried to sleep in the bed, I was told "Not while trespassing". So is his home now available at a real-estate office or something? The woman at the Office of Imperial Commerce, who sold me the Waterfront property, hasn't "Agarmir's House" or something similar as a new topic. Predcon 07:31, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Unfortunately you can not buy dead NPCs houses. They are in most cases left abandoned. --AKB Talk Contribs Email 07:37, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
This puzzles me. After the quest, all items are free to take, but you are supposedly trespassing. Before the quest, they would all be stolen. But I cannot find anything at all that would cause this change. I checked the Oblivion.esm and the UOP with supplemental. --DKong27 Talk Cont 21:38, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
Just took a look after completing the quest ages ago and everything in his house, right down to the pottery, has the red marker on them. --Krusty 09:28, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Are you playing "Vanilla" or with the UOPs? I'm playing with the UOPs and their Supplementals. Predcon 12:12, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
I play the GotY version for PS3. I'm having a hard time believing this was a bug that was "fixed" with the SI, but you never know. --Krusty 14:52, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

() I have an inclination that it would be done in order to prevent the player from being arrested while doing the quest, but it seems that all of the information is counter-intuitive to most explanation...--DKong27 Talk Cont 15:38, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Breaking the Quest[edit]

Early on in the game, I acquired Touch of Rage, an illusion spell that frenzys anything up to level 18 for 30 seconds. I went a little crazy with it in the Market District and got Agamir killed before starting the quest. Now Thoronir just waits in the garden every night for a deadman who never shows up. /quest— Unsigned comment by 174.252.248.92 (talk) at 18:28 on 16 October 2011 (UTC)

As mentioned here, the quest is now broken. It's probably a good idea to refrain from doing these things in the future. Talk Wolok gro-Barok Contributions 18:33, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

Alternate Weapon?[edit]

When following Argarmir to his house, I decided to see whether I could pickpocket the key off him en route to save lockpicks. The Debaser was in his inventory as well so I stole it, since it'd save me dealing with reduced endurance/willpower when I was fighting him and his partner. When it came time to actually fight him in the crypt, he had a different enchanted weapon replacing the stolen Debaser; an elvish mace called Calliben's Grim Retort.

Apparently it's a weapon that's hidden behind a statue in the Crypt. Argarmir picks it up if he has no other weapon in his inventory. This might not be a bug but I still felt it was interesting, especially for those who might not've otherwise known the mace was there. — Unsigned comment by 206.116.217.137 (talk) at 09:41 on 29 February 2016‎ (UTC)
