Quest Name[edit]

In my game this quest is called "The Shirt of His Back" - only one "f". That's probably a typo but what's the policy in the MW namespace for such things? The in-game game or what it was meant to be? —RpehTCE 14:05, 19 December 2007 (EST)

Hmm, that's a tough one. Clearly, both pages should exist, one as a redirect to the other. A note should be added indicating the misspelling. (I mean, it's definitely a typo, I'd say. "The Shirt Off His Back" is a commonly known phrase, while "The Shirt of His Back" just makes no sense.) The only tricky part is whether the actual page (not the redirect) should be at the in-game spelling or the intended one. It's generally been site-policy (regardless of namespace) to use in-game spelling, even when it's known to be incorrect. However, I don't know why, but this one rankles me. I kind of want to leave it where it is and make the in-game spelling a redirect, just because it feels somehow - wrong to do it the other way, even if it's contrary to site policy. So long as the alternate spelling exists as a redirect, it doesn't really matter either way though... --TheRealLurlock Talk 22:12, 19 December 2007 (EST)
