NPCs[edit]

I'm wondering if the NPCs from the West Gash region page should be moved here. Minisun Ulirbabi, Zalabelk Saladnius are at the campfire in Shashmanu Camp. The other camps in this region list outdoor NPCs which are not on the region page, but then what is the list of NPCs on the region page for? Shall I move all the regions NPCs to their respective caves/forts/camps if they are not categorized? Lukish_ Tlk Cnt 03:55, 16 November 2008 (EST)

Seems sensible to me. I wouldn't worry about most of the other NPCs on the list - they're at unnamed camps or fireplaces and would need to stay on that page. –RpehTCE 04:04, 16 November 2008 (EST)
Yes, any NPCs on the region page who are actually in identifiable locations (i.e., locations with their own articles) should be moved to the appropriate page. They're only on the region page for lack of a better place to put them, and because figuring out where exactly someone is located when they're standing outside is more more difficult (in the construction set) than if they're standing inside. With the thousands of non-relevant NPCs in Morrowind, most of the NPC stats and locations were done automatically, and the locations only happen to get refined when somebody actually notices it.
If you're going to be doing more such edits, one minor associated change that needs to be done is to fix the redirects for any non-relevant NPCs. For example, Zalabelk Saladnius's "article" is a redirect that was pointing to West Gash; when he was moved here, the redirect needed to be changed to point here instead (the fix has now been done). It's not a big deal, but if you happen to remember to fix the redirects when you move the NPCs it makes sure that someone remembers to do it ;) --NepheleTalk 00:05, 20 November 2008 (EST)
I had no idea such a page existed, I will certainly keep those up-to-date when I make changes from now on. Lukish_ Tlk Cnt 12:00, 21 November 2008 (EST)
