What is this?[edit]

(TDT -32420, 31700, 1415) What does this mean? Can't find an explanation.— Unsigned comment by 71.199.46.167 (talk) at 03:43 on 17 April 2007‎

TDT is a console command: ToggleDebugText, though it doesn't have much meaning here. The command used should be Position. --DrPhoton 03:28, 17 April 2007 (EDT)

Bounty[edit]

After questioning her, and killing her, is it possible to collect on the bounty? — Unsigned comment by 76.9.81.118 (talk) at 08:52 on 9 December 2007

No, there is no way to collect the bounty. --Gaebrial 09:45, 9 December 2007 (EST)

The Blind Bug[edit]

There's a bug in the Blind enchantment effect that causes the boots to work in a way unintended: The blind enchantment on any equipped object(as opposed to the SetBlindness command, for example) adds to, instead of subtracting from(which is what I think was the developers' intention), the player's attack rating, its unresisted portion. So if you're under the effect of a 100 point blindness enchantment and have a 25% resistance to magicka you get 75 points added to your attack rating. This bug only exists for the player and not for the NPC's, and multiple blind enchantments stack as regards this effect. Please note that all the tests that led to the aforementioned findings were conducted by only one person(i.e. panda_), so you are advised to take this advice with due caution. Thanks go to WC|Kralizec for his/her help in the research.81.214.149.62 18:37, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Bug in the Jurnal Entry[edit]

There's a bug in the first journal entry in the game. It's Caldera, not Balmora. — Unsigned comment by Umma86 (talkcontribs) at 11:21 on 5 May 2011‎

Well it's west of Balmora too, but yes - I take the point. I've marked that entry with a {{sic}} tag. Thanks for pointing it out. rpeh •TCE 11:37, 5 May 2011 (UTC)

Bug?[edit]

If you pickpocket Pemenie after accepting to escort her, you can rob a few coins and she doesn't mind you taking them. After a few seconds of getting the coins you can get more coins again.

Boots are Best for Orcs![edit]

Might want to mention how these boots can benefit Orcs, possibly the greatest. Having a base 25% resistance to Magic due to Racial Bonuses, an Orc character can easily equip the boots, turn up the Brightness Setting, and see almost as well as if you hadn't had the boots on at all! Plus, the speed boost would help a lot... plus, since Orcs already have the highest base Run Speed (due to having a higher Racial Weight), you should be able to move around from place to place faster than ever before! Killing Pemenie[edit]

There appear to be no repercussions for killing Pemenie outright as soon as you see her. While this would probably be obvious as she is a wanted felon and/or there is nobody else about to witness the 'crime', it is not mentioned in the text, and saves time obtaining the boots.— Unsigned comment by 98.176.199.49 (talk) at 23:34 on 13 May 2014
