Tell it to the boss[edit]

I could not get the slaves in the mine itself to advance the quest. I tried each with 100 disposition before and after unlocking their bracers. They all said "Tell it to the boss".

The slave in shack two was the only one to ask about it and get advancement. — Unsigned comment by 24.118.73.28 (talk) on 24 March 2009

That's... roughly what the article said, but I agree it could be made a lot clearer. I've now fixed it up. –RpehTCE 06:46, 24 March 2009 (EDT)
It is not necessary to have the slaves tell you where the ledger is. You can find it yourself by luck, or during another quest, such as Books for Vala Brf 00:21, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Freeing the slaves[edit]

I was able to finish this quest by freeing all the slaves after I had found the secret ledger, but before handing it over to Garisa. When I returned to Garisa Llethri, he took the ledger and immediately recognized my freeing of Dahleena, gave me Ebony Boots and accepted to support me. I'm not sure if this "fix" is introduced by the Morrowind Patch project patch, or is in the original game, but I think this should definitely be mentioned on the page. -- Nikola, 93.139.190.32 17:55, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

The problem would not be with finishing this quest, but finishing the next. So you were able to finish the Shut Down the Mines quest, even though you freed Dahleena before finishing this one? --Brf 18:04, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

Can't complete![edit]

So i freed Dahleena before i found the ledger... now i can't finish the quest, i cant give it 2 the councilor guy! Help, what can i do???--58.6.176.199 04:13, 28 January 2012 (UTC)

Walkthrough/quest stage contradiction[edit]

The quest stages indicate that a necessary stage in this quest is getting the chest key from Cunius Pelelius. However, the walkthrough information says absolutely nothing about it. Why not? Is it necessary or not? I did not talk to Cunius Pelelius, instead finding the chest, picking it and taking the account book; the game does not recognize the quest as completed. — Unsigned comment by 71.234.44.10 (talk) at 19:24 on 10 March 2013 (UTC)

Conflict with Imperial Cult Quest: Donation from Cunius Pelelius (PC GOTY)[edit]

Talk page for the Quest - See "possible conflict with redoran quest" section. I've tried adding the concluding journal entry with the console. Garisa Llethri still only talks about the first stage of shutting the mines down, not giving the option to move to the next quest even though selecting 'evidence of corruption' has him noting that you've given him the evidence! 217.44.86.122 19:33, 20 August 2013 (GMT)

Evidence of corruption quest[edit]

Not understanding how to complete this quest I took all the fake ledgers I could find and all the books in the chest And I went back to the counsellor in skar and only then the journey and counsellor acknowledged completion of that part of the quest — Unsigned comment by Digitaun (talkcontribs) at 10:36 on 8 May 2014 (UTC)
