Oblivion and Morrowind blades connection?[edit]

I just noticed that there were a "Caius" in both of the blade sections(Cyrodiil and Morrowind). Is it possible that they're of same family? Perhaps they're the same and the Morrowind version is just a "pre" version of the Oblivion one? Caius in Cyrodiil looks like he could be a Skooma addict and does look very old now that i think of it.

If you're referring to "Sir Caius" in the Knights of the Nine expansion, he's not a member of the Blades, that I know of, so I'm not sure the analogy fits. Though it's likely an intentional reference, much like the Redguard named "Cyrus" at the Cloud Ruler Temple is a reference to the main character from the game Redguard. Don't think they're meant to be the same person, though. Just a minor easter egg maybe. --TheRealLurlock Talk 23:12, 15 February 2007 (EST)
On a different note, I heard a rumor that Caius was going to be the leader of all the Blades in Oblivion and be your guide for much of the storyline, taking the place of Jauffre, like in Morrowind. In fact, according to this rumor, that's the reason he was called back to Cyrodiil in an emergency during the Morrowind main quest line. I can't remember the source of this rumor, or why they changed it, if it is true. -- --Mebestien 08:33, 11 October 2008 (EDT)
It has always been speculation whether Caius would appear in Oblivion. Bethesda have never confirmed any of it. --Timenn < talk > 10:00, 11 October 2008 (EDT)

Skooma/Moon Sugar Addiction[edit]

This article seems to suggest that Caius Cosades is not a Skooma addict. Is that the intent of this article or I am misreading it? I feel that Caius is indeed a Skooma addict.

"The old greyhair gobbles sugar like scuttle. Chirranirr is surprised he still walks. But it doesn't affect him. That is the mark of a long-time user."
- Chirranirr

While some may suggest that he was only pretending to be ingesting the Moon Sugar, wouldn't Chirranirr(being a Khajit and all) or the other patrons of South Wall(Some of them are Thieves Guild) be able to notice it?

I've removed the offending line. I think the remainder of the text is neutral enough. rpeh •TCE 11:44, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
"-- that is, when someone who is not a Blade asks him"
Can this be verified? This seems to suggest that Caius would deny it if he was asked.

The only piece of dialogue I found in the CS (I did not search extensively) is: I'm just an old man with a skooma problem. That is his response when you ask him about Caius Cosades before the quest Vivec Informants has been initiated. This would mean that the relevant line is incorrect since you're already a member of the Blades by then. Still, I don't think removal is necessary. House Content on character page[edit]

Looking back after having added the house content, I feel that it might be more at place on a separate page. Alpha Panda (talk) 16:51, 1 May 2013 (GMT)

I agree, but creating pages for all of the peoples houses is a large project. After a large amount of the rest of MWOP is done, I intend to create the house pages. At that point, we can simply move the info over. Jeancey (talk) 22:40, 1 May 2013 (GMT)

Sjorvar's Location[edit]

When asked about Sjorvar Caius actually remembers his location as somewhere west of Caldera. But in my Journal it later reads he had said west of Ald'ruhn. I know it really is somewhere in between, but it's odd. Can anybody confirm or maybe that bug is only in the German version? --95.90.239.168 00:55, 11 November 2019 (GMT)
