Move of the Council[edit]

The page states he is credited for securing House Redoran's landholdings during the opening of Vvardenfell and the successful move of the Council to Ald'ruhn. Is this referring to moving the whole of the Redoran council to Ald'ruhn, or setting up the council for Redoran's Vvardenfell holdings? Also, what is the source for this - is it in-game Morrowind info? If it can be sourced, I'd add the appropriate info to my rewrite of Lore:House Redoran. --Enodoc (talk) 15:53, 19 February 2013 (GMT)

It's from Athyn Sarethi's dialogue about Venim:
"He is a strong leader, and has done great things for House Redoran. How can I explain the hold he has over the hearts of the Redoran people? He brought us back from certain defeat. He moved the council here to Vvardenfell and took our share of the frontier lands. He is a natural leader, born to rule. One only wishes he was just and fair as well as strong."
"While we often disagree on the Council, he is the best general House Redoran has known for many generations. Bolvyn Venim brought House Redoran back from the brink of defeat... Alas, no man is perfect. He kidnapped my son. He is harsh on his servants. There are other crimes I am honor-bound to keep secret. I believe you would make a better Archmaster. You temper your strength with mercy."
No mention of Ald'ruhn, though. I also think he just used the terms council and House Redoran synonymously. -- Kertaw48 (talk) 16:44, 19 February 2013 (GMT)
OK, thanks. That wording, and the order of the parts of the sentence, to me suggests he moved the whole Redoran council when they took control of their parts of Vvardenfell. --Enodoc (talk) 18:35, 19 February 2013 (GMT)
So he is the most high ranked redoran leader on all of morrowind ?--The Hlaalu (talk) 09:42, 25 January 2014 (GMT)
