Why does Z'en have a separate page?[edit]

Seems to me that, in consistency with most of the rest of the minor gods listed on the Lore: Gods page, Z'en should only have a description there, and not this separate page? Threepwood87 (talk) 12:22, 9 September 2012 (EDT)

Worship died out after the Knahaten Flu? Altmeri god Xen?[edit]

At present the article about Z'en states that his worship died out shortly after the Knahaten Flu (2E 560 to 2E 603), but still "[he] is the patron deity of the Resolution of Z'en, temples erected to worship and praise him." The only occurrence of the Resolution of Z'en I can find is a stubish (but not stub marked) lore article scarce of information, but pointing to game specific information in the Daggerfall article Resolution of Zenithar, a game taking place well more than half a century later (3E 405).

Has the worship of Z'en died out, or has it continued? Or maybe it has continues as worship of Zenithar?

Further it is stated that "[p]resumably, he the 'same' god as the Altmeri Xen", though marked with citation needed. The only occurrence of Xen is, except for mentioned (but nothing more) in The Monomyth, is in the UESP Aedra and Daedra template. It The template it points back to Z'en, and nothing more. The entry under Gods X only points to Lore:Z'en.

Is the connection between Xen and Z'en purely specualtion? Does Resolution of Z'en exist in the games and is it synonymous with Resolution of Zenithar? —MortenOSlash (talk) 20:07, 7 April 2015 (GMT)

Proposed Rewrite[edit]

I was bored and saw it had a cleanup tag, so I decided to rewrite this article. I've put it below in a collapsed table (I figured that it wouldn't clutter up the discussion page as much that way), and I wanted to know if it's better or worse than the one up now.

Seems fine. I'd just change "most of his followers being wiped out" to "most of his followers having been wiped out" and worshipers->worshippers, and it looks good to launch. —Legoless (talk) 23:10, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
It still leaves the question about how a god with no known worshippers still can have temples throughout High Rock and Hammerfell. Have Z'en regained followers in the Third Era? If so, should it have been noted as such? —MortenOSlash (talk) 22:53, 19 December 2015 (UTC)

Error in citation[edit]

There is mention of Xanmeer Priesthoods revering Z'en, with the link going to the Z'en Vengeance Kiss-Me-Not Cap, but this has no mention of Argonians or Argonian practices at all. Instead, it seems that whoever cited this accidentally read the above passage about the Xanmeer Doyen's Feather Tiara. TheLinguist (talk) 19:32, 13 April 2020 (GMT)

Good catch, mistake on my behalf, thank you for fixing it The Rim of the Sky (talk) 20:49, 13 April 2020 (GMT)
