Sentence Propriety[edit]

The sentence, "Molag Amur is generally an area one passes through out of necessity, not a place where any but the desperate would make a home" is a matter of opinion. Does it really need to be here? If it is a quote from an in-game source, it should be presented as such, with a reference to whose opinion it is. LordXenophon (talk) 01:45, 28 April 2013 (GMT)

Meh. If it's an opinion, it's not one I would disagree with. We're allowed to paraphrase when appropriate, and looking at the sources, this paraphrase seems generally accurate. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12]

I normally wouldn't argue with such a statement on a lore page, if it is the opinion of the characters in the area. I just think it should be referenced exactly whose opinion it is. It's obviously not the opinion of the NPC's who camp all over the region and player characters are anything but desperate when they choose to build Tel Uvirith. The sentence does seem familiar, as though I've read it in-game, but I can't remember exactly where. LordXenophon (talk) 03:28, 28 April 2013 (GMT)
There's this, which the dialogue above mostly restates. I looked through all the Morrowind dialogue on Molag Amur, and a search for "Molag Amur necessity" turned up nothing in the texts. Unless it's from OOG at TIL or something, the sentence was apparently just born from the mind of "Autlandre" when he first made the Morrowind Molag Amur page eight years ago.
