Does anyone know the history behind the Skyrim logo? I found a few gravestones behind the Imperial Trading Company Warehouse in the waterfront district and noticed that some have the logo on them.Datacaust 20:43, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

It's the symbol of the Empire. Jayden Matthews 20:49, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Amulet of Kings?[edit]

I may be stating the obvious here, but has anyone else noticed how much of this symbol is actually within Oblivion (the game, no the realms), and the resemblance it bears to the Amulet of Kings? --Alduin 22:15, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

Yes, you're stating the obvious, as it is explained just above your section. Amulet of kings, symbol of the empire... it's all related. ~ Dwarfmp 22:40, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

Isn't Skyrim's logo the same as Morrowind's, except Skyrim's is silver? — Unsigned comment by Microbat24 (talkcontribs) on 27 February 2011

Yes. It's an Imperial symbol based on an old Akaviri motif - the dragon. It's used all over the place. rpeh •TCE 12:35, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
