Respawn time?[edit]

I see that this article lists a respawn time of 10 days. I have tried many times to follow the instructions for climbing to the summit of Mortrag Peak, but cannot make sense of them. What is up there, anyway, that respawns in 10 days? Is there a chest, or something else worth the effort of all that button-mashing? The article only seems to to list the spectacular views as the reward for making the ascent. Though I might be a completionist, I have to wonder if it is really worth getting this last marker on my map of Solstheim? Darictalk 10:35, 10 March 2013 (GMT)

There is nothing up there, aside from a location marker. May I ask what you can't make sense of in the directions? I thought they may be hard to follow in some places, and am open to any suggestions in improving them. I wrote them as I went, and there may be numerous occurrences of features I labelled as one thing that may appear different from someone else's perspective. --Enodoc (talk) 13:49, 10 March 2013 (GMT)
The respawn time is autogenerated based on whether it is a dungeon and whether it is clearable. There isn't anything up there TO respawn, but if you left something there, it would be gone when you returned 10 days later. Jeancey (talk) 17:42, 10 March 2013 (GMT)
There may well be nothing wrong with your directions, it might just be my faulty interpretation of them. The last thing that made any sense to me was the silver ore vein. From there on in I'm confused. I think this would be a legitimate purpose for a Youtube link, right here. There are very few recognizable waypoints on the journey up Mortrag Peak once you get past the silver ore mine, and one person's definition of what those waypoints are called is highly subjective. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm saying that, if it were me documenting them, I might call them something very different, as might someone else again. A visual representation, either by picture or video, would really help here. Darictalk 22:55, 10 March 2013 (GMT)
How's this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eMbrDwJNCQ They do a couple of extra bits (unnecessary) and don't directly visit the Silver Ore, but other than that, they use the same route as I did for Mortrag Peak. This also shows that I was just being incapable, and it is possible to skip the middle section (as I expected, really), so I'll remove that section from the directions. (Unfortunately this video provides a different route up Mount Moesring than my intended directions, but I suppose it can't hurt to have two for that one – Moesring is the hardest, after all. The other two are the same as my directions.) Does UESP have a YouTube embedder, or is a link the best way? --Enodoc (talk) 23:38, 10 March 2013 (GMT)
We don't because, as was linked above, there are restrictions against MOST youtube links. I would suggest opening a topic on the Community Portal about having an exception for the Dragonborn peaks, and see what people think. Jeancey (talk) 23:40, 10 March 2013 (GMT)
