Incorrectly named[edit]

It would appear that this is incorrectly named in game. The letter appears in the house of Dreyla, who appears (from dialogue between the two) to be in a relationship with Modyn Veleth, the captain of the town guard, but is keeping it a secret from her father. This note supports all of that information, EXCEPT the fact that it is addressed to Dinya, not Dreyla. It is likely that Dreyla was first called Dinya, but was changed later in development (probably due to the fact that skyrim already has a Dinya who lives in Riften. The note was never changed to reflect the new name. That's my opinion anyway :) Jeancey (talk) 05:27, 8 December 2012 (GMT)

Seems likely. Though, to play devil's advocate, it's evidence of the affair, so changing the name could be a weak attempt to preserve deniability. Minor EditsThreatsEvidence 05:32, 8 December 2012 (GMT)
True, though talking about it in the middle of the local bar doesn't seem like the best way to keep a secret. Jeancey (talk) 05:38, 8 December 2012 (GMT)
When I first saw it I thought it might be a diminutive for Dreyla. In some languages, diminutives (pet forms of full names) often end in "ya", like in Russian. (i.e. "Sonya" for "Sofia") --67.71.55.233 01:27, 20 April 2014 (GMT)
