A successfully completed quest results in a reputation gain according to the table below.

Faction/Person Reputation Gain
Generic Knightly Order +5
Knight Order +5
City-State where the order is located variable
Nobility of the city-state where the order is located variable
People of the city-state where the order is located variable
All other factions of the city-state where the order is located variable

A failed quest results in a reputation loss according to the table below.

Faction/Person Reputation Gain
Generic Knightly Order -2
Knight Order -2

An exception of this schema is the Knights of the Hawk (see its respective article for an explanation).

Unique to Knight Orders is the handling of reputation when it comes to non-member quests. Unlike the other factions, a completed quest results not in a gain of reputation with the Knight Order you got the quest from, but in a reputation change with the governing body of all Knight Orders.

However a member of any Knight Order will gain or lose reputation as he would gain/lose with his own order, when he does non-member quests for one of the other knightly orders of the bay.

A successfully completed non-member quest, done by anyone who is not a member of a knightly order, results in a reputation gain according to the table below.

Faction/Person Reputation Gain
Generic Knightly Order +10
Questers +5
Smiths +2
Healers +2
Seneschal +2

And a failed quest, done by anyone who is not a member of a knightly order, will result in a reputation loss as seen in the table below.

Faction/Person Reputation Gain
Generic Knightly Order -4
Questers -2
Smiths -1
Healers -1
Seneschal -1
