Solvjord

Solvjord is a cave due south of the Tree Stone and north of Fort Frostmoth.

It is located close to Brodir Grove on the Isinfier Plains, west of the Iggnir River. Depending on when you perform the related quest, the missionary Mirisa may be found here.

Walkthrough[edit]

The short, straight ice passage at the entrance connects to a larger ice cave. If Mirisa is here, she will be in the cave just south of the entry passage. From the end of the entry passage, go to your right (southwest) to find a couple of potions sitting on the ground in the corner, or go to your left (southeast) to find at least one and as many as three enemies.

Once you've dealt with the first set of enemies, proceed through a section with an uneven floor, to find one to three more enemies near the back of the cave. Past those enemies, go all the way west to find a locked chest (level 50) with loot. From the chest, turn around and start back the way you came, but after a few steps, look to your right (south) for a passage that slopes downhill. There are some crates, barrels, and sacks at the end of this passage, with loot and gold.

Notes[edit]

  • The name is most likely a compound word consisting of the two words "sølv" and "jord", which means "silver" and "dirt" in Danish and Norwegian.
