Welcome[edit]

Hello Baratron! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

  • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! –Eshetalk 18:50, 28 March 2012 (UTC)

Might this be why?[edit]

Might this by why I am having problems with the UespLog AddOn‎ on one of the computers I have ESO installed? (I do not have the other computer available to check today.) —MortenOSlash (talk) 11:14, 26 March 2015 (GMT)

If uespLog is showing up as an add-on which can be enabled/disabled, yet none of the slash commands (e.g. /uri) work, then this would show that you need to rename the folder, yes :) Are either of the machines running Mac OS X? That's another fix again. baratron (talk) 11:52, 27 March 2015 (GMT)
Finally got it tested on the other computer (a Win box) and it is confirmed.
By the way, ESO obviously finds \\<server name>\<shared folder name>\Documents\ as path for "My documents" difficult. The game resolves this by making a new folder on the C-disk named C:\<server name>\<shared folder name>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\liveeu\ and happily uses that folder for game information rather than making a folder in the real "My documents". —MortenOSlash (talk) 17:55, 27 March 2015 (GMT)
… while the LogMonitor was not fooled to go to the C disk, but looked for the log files on the server (until I manually changed the path today), where they were not. This is why up until this morning no log files from the computer with the My documents folder on the server were submitted. (I should have seen the persistent error message from the LogMonitor, though.) —MortenOSlash (talk) 12:33, 27 April 2015 (GMT)

Such an attractive group of people, especially the fella with the winged Imperial helmet on the left ;) --Xyzzy Talk 14:43, 29 March 2015 (GMT)

Guild Pics[edit]

Hey baratron, do you have any photos of the NA guild for the new gallery section? —Legoless (talk) 19:56, 28 June 2015 (UTC)

PC NA Guild[edit]

Hey there, I was just wondering how you managed to change the alliance affiliation of the guild on the PC NA server. I didn't think that was possible :) --Enodoc (talk) 08:33, 17 September 2015 (UTC)

Sadly, I didn't - one of our members pointed out that the information on the wiki was incorrect, so I changed that :) Dave set the Guild up in Daggerfall Covenant and it's always been DC. Someone, possibly me, must have made a typo in the wiki and no one had noticed in all this time. baratron (talk) 18:27, 17 September 2015 (UTC)

Username[edit]

Since you've been customising your userpage, I thought you might be interested in adding {{DISPLAYTITLE:User:baratron}} to the top of the page. It'll force the title to display in lowercase. —Legoless (talk) 15:39, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

Thanks, that's super-useful! --baratron (talk) 23:14, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
